Great service and decor! Ordered the thin crust supreme pizza which I would give a "C" grade...seemed to be lacking meat. No tap beer but looked like mixed drinks were a plenty.
Traveling from Waterloo last Saturday, I came across this hidden gem because Highway 218 was detoured through Van Horne. This turned out to be a happy circumstance for my taste buds. I sat down, received a menu right away and was offered something to drink while I decided on my order. I had been craving a burger all day so I chose the "Ranch House" ($5.99, total was ~$11.00 with fries and a coffee). The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. When my burger and fries arrived, it consisted of a generous patty, perfectly done, topped with cheese, mushrooms and Ranch dressing. The fries had just the right amount of crisp and were done through. I thoroughly enjoyed this savory delight while watching the WS game on the conveniently located TV. I highly recommend making the trip to Van Horne to experience for yourselves.
